Evolved Conveyancing

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a firm of solicitors?

Yes we are. Evolved conveyancing is the online conveyancing service of abt law. For more information please see our about us page.

How much will I be charged?

If you have not already done so you can get a free, no-obligation quote right now by going to our instant quote calculator. We also provide Home Information Packs. Please see our Guide to HIPs for more information.

I am selling my home. Do I need a HIP?

If you are selling your property then you will need a HIP, unless the property falls within an exception. For full details on Home Information Packs please see our Guide to HIPs page.

Are there any hidden charges?

When you obtain an instant quote you can view a detailed breakdown of applicable charges. There are no hidden charges but you should remember that additional charges can occur during the course of a transaction, for example if an additional document is required on a sale or a specialist search on a purchase. We would not know about such things at the beginning of the transaction but if this should occur we will of course advise you. If you have any questions regarding your quote do not hesitate to contact us.

I have obtained a quote and would like to instruct you to act. Can I do this now?

Yes. Just click on instruct us and enter your details. If you obtain an instant quote first some information will already be completed for you.

How long will it take?

The time it will take to complete the transaction will depend on a number of factors, many of which unfortunately are outside our control. A straight forward matter with no complications can take as little as 4 weeks to complete. This timescale cannot be guaranteed. We will work with you to achieve proposed completion dates and if something occurs which will cause a delay we will advise you as soon as we can.
